After a long but fruitful gestation, we have opened the Decebal Association website.
Many sections are still under construction but those that are open are already rich and interesting.

The site has a preeminently cultural characteristic and in addition to the association’s news presents information and references on the culture and history of Romania selected on the basis of the president’s more than 30 years of experience.
The current news and references found on the site are absolutely independent of any political or economic factors being the Decebal Association an association of mostly Italian private entities working in the field of culture and social work.

All information and images owned by the Association found on the site may be used free of charge, citing the source.

My encounter with Romania began in 1971 and led me gradually and intensely to a spiritual and material symbiosis with all that Romania represents. With the history and traditions of its people, with its territory, with the natural features of its habitat, and with human artifacts.

Over a 30-year period, I have seen the merits and aberrations of the Ceausescu regime, the merits and aberrations of the revolution and post – communism that is slowly ferrying Romania to Europe.
